XFINITY COMCAST: Luminary
SITUATION (Context):
As a contracted Design Director with Luminary, led with one report, a Senior Product Designer to implement their experience on the new X1 Xfinity Comcast platform.
TASK (Problem):
Business need was a goal of attracting 75,000 new subscribers through the X1 Xfinity Comcast platform.
ACTION (Solution):
Team of 2 worked with the Luminary Head of Brand and exiting Design Director to create a MVP experience.
Research competitors, current “as is” and “to be” streaming and podcast experiences within browser and other Operating Systems, with the Xfinity platform in mind.
Create a site map and UX that works with the Xfinity architecture and Comcast’s unique control navigation.
Expand the Luminary brand and style guide beyond the Luminary app and web app with new a Tint, Shade, Non Active and System Notification Colors.
Explore redesign of the Luminary UX experience within the Xfinity platform, with wires.
RESULT (Outcome):
Completed engagement within a quick 4 week turnaround For Comcast engineers to implement!!
